REVIVE: UNDER THE VIADUCT SPRING 2017
Harlem Bespoke: More green space and mini pedestrian plazas are now being installed under the massive viaduct over by 12th Avenue in Manhattanville just north of 125th Street. A multitude of trees, benches and plots for flora have sprung this springtime around the new Columbia campus construction site and the piers by water have actually attracted a marine vessel. There is still quite a bit of work to be done under the landmark viaduct but those visiting this corner of Harlem should expect a softer industrial look for the historic neighborhood. More on the outdoor space at West Harlem Piers can be found in our past post: LINK
