DEMOLITION: THE VICTORIA THEATRE JUNE 2017

Harlem Bespoke: The demolition process for the Victoria Theatre on 125th Street by 7th Avenue started up last fall and now everything seems to be ready for the next phase of construction. We took the above photo of the historic theater in the past few days and saw that the facade now only remains on site.  As previously noted, 26-story tower has been planned for the site which will include a hotel, cultural center, affordable housing and what remains of the original architecture.  This is a pretty massive endeavor so it will probably take a couple of more years to finish up if everything goes on schedule this time around.   Check out the final architectural plans in our past post: LINK
