RESTORATION: 2457 FREDERICK DOUGLASS BOULEVARD

Harlem Bespoke:  We walked by 2457 8th Avenue yesterday by 132nd Street and noticed that scaffolding was up out front.  From what can be recollected, this was a church-owned building that used the ground floor but the top levels had cinder blocks in the windows.  Everything appears to be going under a gut renovation and an older permit mentions adding two additional levels but that paperwork does not appear to have been approved.  Apparently there will only be 8 units after everything finishes up and we would probably guess that this one will probably a rental when completed.
