Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that construction had started at 26 East 125th Street recently and decided to check up on what will be happening to the old ballroom space by Madison Avenue. Plans for a residential conversation appeared about 3 years ago but new permits now show a basic renovation of the commercial space without any proposed additions on top. Everything had previously been approved to expand the building vertically so this might just still happen in the near future.
