ARCHITECTURE: MANHATTANVILLE BUS DEPOT 2017

Harlem Bespoke:  The Manhattville Bus Depot on 12th Avenue between 132nd and 133rd Street went through a recent renovations which was somewhat of a slight improvement.  The above photo was taken back in 2011 right before everything started and we always thought that the decorative facade looked like something from the 80s that never got updated.
Now a clean slate has come about as can be seen in the current photo but nothing too extreme has happened.  Basically the decorative pattern on the front end has been removed and basic brick has taken over.  The more modest look now blends in with the industrial nature of the neighborhood but are a bit of let down after all of the time spent on fixing things up.
