EAT: LUNCH AT PAD THAI ON FDB

Harlem Bespoke:  We got a chance to finally drop by Pad Thai on FDB and 115th Street to try out the $10 lunch special.  Harlem did not really have a proper Thai restaurant until now but it appears that many in the neighborhood have discovered the little eatery located just a few blocks north of Central Park. There were already a couple of tables taken when we arrived around noon but the tiny restaurant filled up but the time 1:00PM rolled around.

This generous lunch special runs from 11:00AM to 3:00PM everyday and noodle or rice dishes are all offerings on the menu that has diners decide on what type of protein should be part of the mix.  A complimentary serving of Tom Yum soup started out the meal served nicely in a decorative copper bowl and arrived at the table quite quickly. We had the Pad See Ew which was served up wide rice noodles, savory soy, asian greens and chicken tossed in.  Over all, everything was solid and we would recommend stopping by for a quick bite in the afternoon on any given day.
