Harlem Bespoke: We reported that Nez Cafe at the corner of 117th and Manhattan Avenue was pretty much ready to open soon this spring but it now appears that some unfortunate news have come about. Several tips have common in revealing that all of the efforts put in place might never come to full fruition.
One such message arrived a few weeks ago mentioning that the owners have some sort of
lease dispute with the landlord and the debut date was on hold indefinitely. The above photo was sent in this week and it appears now the the said building owner has put up the completed restaurant space up for rent. Manhattan Avenue does not have a lot of businesses along the boulevard and it would have been beneficial for foot traffic to have Nez Cafe as part of the commercial mix but everyone will probably have to wait to see if anything else will eventually secure the space.
