SEE: METROPOLIS AT UNITED PALACE
Sunday, March 25th, 5:00PM, Metropolis (1927) at United Palace, 4150 Broadway by 175th Street. Fritz Lang’s influential German science-fiction silent film will be brought to life through an electro-acoustic score composed and performed live by award-winning flutist, composer, and educator Yael Acher “KAT” Modiano. For the pre-show, the NYC Vintage Enthusiasts will curate a “retro-futuro” fashion show on the United Palace’s renovated stage. As always, guests are encouraged to dress in theme costumes.
