Harlem Bespoke: The official car share spaces have been allocated at various uptown locations and the signage have been put in place accordingly. The Department of Transportation site mentions that 285 reserved parking spaces for Zipcar or Enterprise Carshare have been assigned throughout the city and those who want short-term rentals should contact the aforementioned company accordingly.
Morningside Heights, Hamilton Heights and East Harlem are included in the two-year pilot which will help improve local air quality and mitigate the burden of owning a car or seeking out parking. Check out the DOT website for more details on how to sign up:
