Harlem Bespoke: The Lenox location of Harlem Bar-B-Q location by 137th Street has suddenly shuttered but plans for a new business have already come about. A tip from a Bespoke reader mentioned that a new facade had already been put in place so we decided to check out the commercial space this past weekend.
It now appears that a taqueria will be opening on site and this is definitely the big uptown food trend of the past couple of years. Harlem Bar-B-Q debuted north of 135th Street back in 2015 which makes for a relatively short run but tacos might just do better if the offerings and price points hit the right mark.
