Harlem Bespoke: El Aguila at corner of Lexington and 116th shuttered a while back and was quickly replaced by another taqueria called La Chula. We had not been in El Barrio for some time but had an opportunity to stop by the new eatery a couple of weeks ago and was presently surprised. The interior decor had a hip downtown vibe to it and the fish tacos that we ordered were better than those served up at fancier restaurants. As can be seen in the above photo, bar seating is available along with additional side tables for large parties. The 116th Street train stop on the Lex line is right next to the taco shop so make sure to drop by if you are on the east side.
