Harlem Bespoke: The row of 5 abandoned buildings at 54-62 West 125th Street had been sold for $26.5 million in the past year and now a full demolition will be coming about in the next few months. We took the above photo in the past week and which shows that scaffolding has already been put in place. Apparently a massive
17-story residential building with commercial space has been planned for the this location just east of the Lenox Avenue express trains. High-rise buildings are new to 125th Street but developers are now taking advantage of implemented zoning changes. Check out what the buildings originally looked like in our past post:
