Maysles Documentary Center is pleased to announce the 10th anniversary edition of Congo in Harlem, the world's only annual film series dedicated to the Democratic Republic of the Congo. This year's series will take place October 14-21, 2018 and will feature a diverse and absorbing lineup of fiction and documentary films along with filmmaker Q&A's, musical performances and special panel presentations.
Highlights of the series include the award-winning film Félicité (Winner, Silver Bear, Berlinale), followed by live music from Nkumu Katalay, and a special appearance by acclaimed performer Baloji who will discuss his work in film and music videos. .
