LISTEN: UPTOWN NIGHTS AT HARLEM STAGE

Friday, October 26th, 7:30PM-9:30PM , Uptown Nights: Sacred Rebel Women at Harlem Stage, 150 Convent Avenue by 135th Street, Tickets $25. The concert features 3 extraordinary women artists known for moving the crowd, who will bring their artistry together for an evening of music, movement and visuals. DJ, percussionist and sound chemist Val Jeanty will perform "VodouElectro" with Sirene Dantor Oliyaya Rene; singer-producer Neycha will perform the rebel music acid hip-hop anthems for which she is best known; and DC-born Ghanaian singer-songwriter YahZarah -- who has shared the stage with The Roots, Outcast and Lenny Kravitz-- will perform from her four album body of work, along with new music.  More details and ticket can be found online at the Harlem Stage site: LINK
