Harlem Bespoke: News of Jin Ramen opening a location in Hamilton Heights arrived earlier this year but not much has happened on site at the corner of Broadway and 148th Street. We walked by 3599 Broadway recently and noticed that the storefront has not had much progress over the past few months so decided to do a little research. Based on the DOB website, documents for alterations to the interior shop space had just been approved this month so work could possibly start up very soon. Planning and city approval takes up a lot of time initially but things tend to move forward dramatically once all of the paperwork has been given the green light.
