Harlem Bespoke: We past by the restored Corn Exchange Building on East 125th Street and Park Avenue this past weekend and marveled at the restored architecture but what will happen next for the local landmark? After a devastating demolition that removed some of the top floors back in 2009, the building was finally put back together six years later but has since been vacant. A beer hall was one of the possibilities in the past but that deal apparently fell through but a food hall could work to make the area a destination spot. Seeing that the Metro North train station is just across the street, a creative developer could come up with something that will work with commuters and the organic pedestrian foot traffic on 125th Street. Any suggestions out there?
