Harlem Bespoke: The news broke out
last April that Victoria's Secret will be opening on 125th Street by Lenox Avenue and that day has arrived. We walked by the new retail construction located just west of Whole Foods and saw that customers where already enthusiastically shopping within. Foot traffic on 125th Street is really heavy this time a year and the retailer definitely has benefited from the location since no big announcement was made about the debut. Even though the company has had some growing pains in the past couple of years, it appear that the brand equity is still strong for uptowners and the store has instantly attracted quite a few shoppers.
