READ: MTA TO CRACK DOWN ON FARE-BEATERS

Harlem Bespoke:  Those out there jumping over the turnstile or sneaking through the back door of the bus might want to think twice in the future.  The Post reports that the MTA lost $215 million this year to fair-beaters and now will have monitors on site along with police officers to catch anyone in the act.  This will especially be true for bus fare since the $119 million loss was much larger than the $96 million subway deficit in 2018.  There will also be cameras set up at certain stations to ascertain the overall pattern during the day when most of the fare-skipping happens.  More details in the New York Post: LINK
