CELEBRATE: BLACK HISTORY MONTH MENU AT MELBA'S
Wednesday, February 27th, 7:00PM-9:00PM, Dutrielle Menu at Melba's, 300 West 114th Street at Frederick Douglass Boulevard. African-Americans pioneered the catering industry in the 1800s and Melba's on Frederick Douglass Boulevard pays homage to one of the great black-owned businesses of the day. Melba's celebrates Black History Month with 3-course dinner inspired by historic menus by Dutrielle catering of Philadelphia which was established in 1873 and was in business up until 1967 after being passed down from generation to generation. Dishes to choose from for the evening will include American classics such as Crab stuffed Flounder, Roasted Holiday Turkey, Stuffed Acorn Squash and Fillet with Cream of Mushroom.
