INTRODUCING: PLOWSHARES IN MANHATTANVILLE

Harlem Bespoke: What is probably Harlem's largest coffee shop has quietly open 1351 Amsterdam just south of West 126th Street.  Ploughshares Coffee & Roasters announced last month that the 3,600 square foot space had been secured for a cafe and that a roasting facilities would be set up in the back for a wholesale operations.

There was actually a soft opening last week but the coffee shop that also sell pastries is now fully functional.  Minimalist wood tones, polished poured concrete and lots of foliage provides a serene, minimalist but modern interior which could easily seat around 50 guest or so.  Plowshares is also a local roaster that sells to other coffee shops so the brew here is especially fresh.  This section of Manhattanville will be the area to watch in the next couple of years and new boutique businesses will probably be arriving sooner than later.  More on Plowshares in Harlem can be found in our past post: LINK
