Harlem Bespoke: The Healing From Heaven Temple building at 2535 8th Avenue at the corner of 136th Street has apparently been fully demolished. This was the single level white stucco building that was reportedly an adaptive reuse development which transformed a former A&P supermarket into a house of worship. Demolition permits listed on the DOB website are dated as far back as 2017 so plans have been put in place for some time. There does not appear to be any other paperwork listed but new construction proposals are probably in the works.
