INTRODUCING: NEW BUSINESS AT THE CORN EXCHANGE

Harlem Bespoke: The restored Corn Exchange Bank building on East 125th Street by Park Avenue has been waiting for a commercial tenant for some time and signs currently indicate that the moment has now arrived. This landmark building was partially demolished because of structural issues from decades of neglect but was finally rebuilt back in 2015 to its former glory. Most of the upper floors are still available to lease but the lower level will no longer be vacant in the coming months.
Signage  has now been posted at the main entrance announcing that a cafe will be arriving soon.  This appears to be a local endeavor which which has us wondering if one of the uptown Harlem coffee shops are involved.  Nevertheless, this business model seems to be popular these days and residential boom on 125th Street is currently underway.  This corner also faces the Metro North train station which will provide commuters and travelers with a nice spot to drop by before or after a trip.  For more on the Corn Exchange building, check out oru past post: LINK
