ARCHITECTURE: NEW DESIGNS FOR HSA
Harlem Bespoke: An article in the Times reveals that the new glassy designs for Harlem School of the Arts on St. Nicholas by 142nd Street. The current Brutalist architecture from the 1970s was a concealed space but the $9.5 million renovations courtesy of the Herb Alpert Foundation will add light and update the exterior with the more current grey brick facade finish.
