Harlem Bespoke: It has been almost 4 years since the landmark fire watch tower on top of Marcus Garvey Park was dismantled for repairs and now construction is slowly making progress. We took a photo back in December of the scaffolding that went up and noted that the finish date was set for January 2019 which has since passed. Currently it appears that the steel beams of the historic structure are being assembled and the roof can be seen as a radiating pattern. At this rate, end of summer or early fall might be a better estimate since delays always appear to happen when it comes to construction deadlines.
