INTRODUCING: TROPICAL MOSAICS AT 163RD STATION
Harlem Bespoke: The 163rd Street station on St. Nicholas had been closed for renovation some time ago but now the subway stop is a sparkling tropical paradise. Weekend delays on trains have been the result of the massive system overhaul but the fruits of the labor are actually quite nice. Sugar Hill has Caribbean community especially on the west side towards Broadway so the island scenes on the mosaic artwork make a perfect backdrop for commuters. There are also new digital upgrades on all of the signage and brighter modern lighting illuminates the newly refreshed interior.
