LGBT: RAFIKI DEBUT IN HARLEM

April 19th–25th, 2019, Rafiki screening at Sol Cinema Cafe (fka Raw Space), 2031 Adam Clayton Powell Junior Boulevard by 122nd Street.  Initially banned in Kenya for its positive portrayal of queer romance, Rafiki won a landmark supreme court case chipping away at Kenyan anti-LGBT legislation.
