EAT: FIRST LOOK AT SIDO GRILL ON FDB
Harlem Bespoke: Sido Grill took over the old Custom Fuel Pizza space at the corner of 123rd Street on FDB and opened about a month ago. We dropped by the mediterranean casual eatery to order a pita sandwich and was pleasantly surprised with the casual eatery with a sharply priced offering.
Vegetarian options such a falafel sandwich in a pita all cost only $5 and the gyro that we ordered was at $7 like the other meat options. There are bigger platters along with the familiar menu selection of homus, baba ghanouj, stuffed grape leaves and spinach pie which are all economically priced. Everything is pretty solid and pretty much priced accordingly with the added addition of being in a pleasant 30 seat interior that has a lot of warm wood details. We definitely miss Custom Fuel, but a more affordable restaurant option is definitely always welcomed in the neighborhood. More on Custom Fuel Pizza in our past post: LINK
