EAT: HARLEM'S MICHELIN STAR RESTAURANT 2019
Harlem Bespoke: The prestigious Michelin star selection for 2019 for restaurants showcases 76 New York City eateries and one Harlem establishment has been making the cut for the past 3 years. Since opening in 2015, the notable destination headed up by chef Shinichi Inoue at the corner of 129th on Lenox has received a lot of attention in the fine dining world and the critical eye of the Michelin group took noticed the year after. Reviews done in 2016 are highlighted in the restaurant guide for 2017 so that edition was the first for Inoue. One star awards make up the bulk of the recommendation and this means the food is highly exceptional and worth the visit.
Reservations are recommended and doors are closed at the beginning of the week so make sure to plan in advance especially for one of the omakase fixed courses at the chef's table. With that said, we actually did a walk in for our first review so a slightly more casual dining experience can definitely happen for those who happen to be in the neighborhood: LINK
