Harlem Bespoke: Walking by the community garden on West 139th Street by Lenox Avenue this week revealed an abundance of greenery growing in the middle of Central Harlem. Several plots have been allocated to a variety of vegetation but we on really recognize the miniature corn field at the far west corner. Uptown soil has yielded fruit trees, collard greens and even corn so adventuresome gardeners can pretty much try out anything that can sprout up seasonally. One can also walk a little further south to Astor Row on 130th Street and check out the peaches that usually start to ripen this time of year in the front yards of the historic homes: LINK
