CONSTRUCTION: NEW WINDOWS AT PS 157
Harlem Bespoke: A sidewalk shed had been place around the former P.S. 157 building at the corner of 127th Street and St. Nicholas in the past week. This local landmark was one of the first adaptive reuse school buildings in the neighborhood and is one one of the more affordable rentals in the neighborhood but vacancy are quite rare. From what we can see so far, new windows are being added but it is unclear if anything else will be installed in the near future. Check out our past post to see an archival photo of this unique building on the cusp of West Harlem.
