Harlem Bespoke: It might be the end of summer but the sunflowers around Harlem are apparently in full bloom. We noticed quite a few of the empty tree plots on the sidewalk have been made into makeshift gardens in the past couple of years and sunflowers seem to be a local favorite. There was even corn on 125th this summer so local gardeners are getting quite creative. There are also more manicured assortments of flora presented around town but the more rustic aesthetic really captures the imagination for many in the big city.
