READ: ONE BILLION DEVELOPMENT AT LENOX TERRACE
Harlem Bespoke: Will midtown high rises appear in Central Harlem north of 125th Street? The infill towers at Lenox Terrace has been planned for about a decade now and apparently everything is moving forward in two phases. An article published last year mentioned that the cost will be set roughly at over a billion for the expansion and the 5 new towers will add 1,642 new apartments to the iconic address. There will be an affordable units also set aside and 40,000 square feet of retail space will be added into the mix. Phase one has a reported 2022 complete date while Phase two will wrap up around 2027 if all goes to plan. The public review process actually started last month so things are definitely moving forward. All new renderings are from the Olnick Organization which originally constructed Lenox Terrace in the 50s and more photos an be found at City Realty: LINK
