CITI BIKE: EXPANDING UPTOWN LOCATIONS

Harlem Bespoke: As Citi Bike’s planned expansion gets underway, with more than 30 new docks already installed in Bushwick, the Citi Bike team is now turning its attention uptown-- between 130th and 155th Street and into the South Bronx. The upcoming community workshops held in partnership with NYC DOT on the following dates:

Manhattan Community Board 9-- Monday, Oct 21st City College, 160 Convent Ave – 3rd Floor

Manhattan Community Board 10-- Monday, Oct 28th Hansborough Rec Center, 35 West 134th Street

For such a massive undertaking, this is an extremely local process, a real look at democracy in action. It is a true effort to sit down in each community, and plot, on a map, where residents would like to see stations installed.  Meetings will run from 6:00PM to 7:00PM on the above dates for Harlem residents.  More details on Metro New York: LINK
