Harlem Bespoke: We noticed that River Thai had opened quietly on Amsterdam Avenue by 147th Street in Hamilton Heights the past couple of months or so and took a few photos today. This is probably the largest Thai eatery to be found north of 125th Street and everything has contemporary vibe as far as the decor goes.
Those looking for a more spacious spot for Thai food in Harlem should definitely check out this 40-seater which also has banquettes in the back. Below125th Street, there is also
Pad Thai on FDB by 115th Street which we actually quite enjoy but that space is a bit narrower. River Thai is also open for lunch and we will drop by one day soon for a more formal food review. Read more about Pad Thai in our past post:
