REMEMBER: THE PET TIGER OF HARLEM

Harlem Bespoke: Who remembers the pet tiger found in Harlem back in 2003 that made the news world wide?  The ferocious feline named Ming had been raised in a 5-bedroom apartment at the Drew Hamilton Houses on Adam Clayton Powell by 141st Street for three years until a domestic incident brought in the authorities.  Apparently a rescue kitten was introduced into the household mix which caused an epic cat fight that ended up with the owner getting bitten in the leg by the bigger beast when intervening.  Local authorities were called in to eventually to take Ming to an animal sanctuary in Ohio and now news outlets have reported that the legendary uptown resident has passed away.  After being cremated, the ashes of Ming now have a final resting ground at an upstate cemetery with a memorial tombstone commemorating one of Harlem's most fascinating citizens.  More details can be found in the New York Post: LINK
