EAT: L'ARTISTA REPLACES L'ARGOT
Harlem Bespoke: L'Argot on Hamilton Place by 143rd shut down without any notice at the end of November and now a new look has been revealed. We had noticed construction going on in the past couple of weeks and the original signage had been covered at that point in time. When this week’s cloudy weather cleared, a new moniker had been installed out front announcing that L'Artista has arrived which means a full turnaround at the eatery.
The facade has been painted contrasting black and turquoise but it is still unclear what has happened as far as interior decor. Apparently Italian tapas will be the order of day but in an elevated presentation that will be a standout once things get going. Those who want to support the business can officially dine this weekend for dinner service and check out the transformation before the holidays. More on the former L'Argot can be found in our past post: LINK
