Harlem Bespoke: A Bespoke reader wanted to know if there was any updates on Bierstrasse at the corner of West 133rd but there is not a lot of good news to report. Everything shuttered by mid fall of this year and many were hoping that service would return soon. The classic European style beer garden opened back in
May of 2016 and provided a really beautiful outdoor space in the historic industrial part of West Harlem but keeping a business this size going must have been quite an endeavor. With that said, we noticed that documents were posted on the entrance last month stating that the landlord is due several months back rent and that the property is going through the court system. It would be amazing if another restauranteur or financial partner could come in a back up the business but theat might just be wishful thinking for the new year.
