Harlem Bespoke: How much is market rate rent these days in Manhattan for a one-bedroom apartment? Apparently almost $3,000 a month and two available units at 69 East 125th Street are going for
$2,772 or
$2,800 a month. This might sound a bit high for the location by Park Avenue on the east side but the 12-story building that finished up in 2017 has a total of 75 apartments and all have leases signed. Paying this much for a monthly overheard probably makes sense for a mortgage but apparently a lot of people are fine with this amount for a rental.
