ARCHITECTURE: A SUNNY DAY ON CAMPUS

Harlem Bespoke: School is out because of the current coronavirus emergence in the city and we thought it would be a perfect time yesterday to take some architecture photos over at Columbia University on 116th Street since the campus would be empty. The McKim, Mead & White designed main college campus is still one of the great example of the Beaux-Arts movement from over a century ago and we often walk through the main corridor just east of Broadway for some inspiration.  Evidently the extreme warm weather on Monday also inspired most of the student body to hang out and bask in the sun so a couple of good intentions seem to have been foiled for the day.
