REMEMBER: A PRESIDENTIAL MOMENT AT SYLVIA'S

Harlem Bespoke: We dropped by Sylvia's last week to check out the counter service up front but also saw a presidential memento captured on one of the many historic moments featured throughout the restaurant.  The aforementioned white counter space greets diners as they immediately enter on Lenox just north of 126th Street but then there is the main red room just next door with exposed brick walls and a bar in the corner.  After the red comes the green room which has the substantial round table by the window.  This is where President Obama sat down and ate with Al Sharpton back in 2007 when running the upstart campaign that would excite the nation.  We especially love this candid photo when the then presidential candidate takes the first bite off the bone to get into that chicken.  Check out more about Sylvia's in our past review: LINK
