UPDATE: SOCIAL DISTANCING IN HARLEM





Harlem Bespoke:  New York City is in the midst of trying to contain the spread of the Coronavirus and a preventative measure called social distancing is voluntarily being implemented.  As of Wednesday this week, there are 52 confirmed cases in the city and mass congregations of people should be avoided.  The St. Patrick's Day Parade will be postponed this week and below are a few Harlem closings based on the crowd issue.  Those affected by school closings should not hang out on the campus to socialize and be more conscious of entering large gathering situation.

CUNY will have campus closed starting March 12th to 18th and online classes for the rest of the of the semester starting March 19th: LINK

The Schomburg cancels all scheduled gatherings until March 31st which include the annual Women's Jazz Festival: LINK

Columbia University cancelled two days of classes earlier in the week and courses will be taught virtually until March 27th: LINK

Studio Museum 127 on 127th Street will closed on Thusday, March 12th: LINK

Harlem Eatup! originally scheduled from May 11th-17th has been postponed indefinitely: LINK

The Apollo Theater will be closed and will not present any shows until after April 4th: LINK
