Harlem Bespoke: There have been so many good samaritans in the past weeks that have been helping uptown restaurants by making large delivery orders as a donations to healthcare workers at local hospitals. Melba's restaurant was just on 60 Minutes recently discussing the impact of restaurant closures on small businesses and it appears a philanthropist took notice. A generous order of 100 meals has since been delivered to Mount Sinai to feed the nurses and doctors for the day which in turn has sent a lifeline to the eatery on FDB. This is a great example on how to help out local hospitals and restaurants at the same time in the upcoming weeks. Those who are so inclined should probably just make a phone call to a favorite Harlem establishment and order as much a possible to feed frontline workers during the crises.
