READ: ST. JOHN THE DIVINE CONVERTED TO HOSPITAL
Harlem Bespoke: The world's largest cathedral just north of 110th Street on Amsterdam Avenue will now be an emergency field hospital for coronavirus patients. All local medical facilities are being overwhelmed and space is running out so the massive cathedral will house medical tents with up to 200 patients. The crypt below will also be set up for medical personnel use. This is a historic first for the city but it all makes sense because of the proximity of the local landmark to the hospital nearby. More on the story in the New York Times: LINK
