Harlem Bespoke: We have read that a lot of downtown stores are starting to board up the fronts of the shops and noticed that Blick on 125th Street had also done the same about a week ago. The address by the Apollo theater is the only art store uptown and the protective measure is the only one we have seen in the neighborhood so far. Luxury retailer further south in Manhattan neighborhoods such as the Meat Packing District and Soho apparently have quite a few storefronts with the wood barricades which have a lot of community advocates saying that this sends the wrong message during the pandemic:
