Harlem Bespoke: Walking by Broadway around 149th Street yesterday we noticed that one of the larger latin grocery stores had shuttered recently. The produce stand here used to be one of our favorites to walk by since the tropical fruit and vegetable offerings were some of the best to found uptown. Hamilton Heights is more hispanic going west of Amsterdam and the vibrant community has alway been a special part of the neighborhood so seeing such local businesses disappear is really a sad moment.
