BESPOKE: LAST LOOK AT COOGAN'S
Harlem Bespoke: The shutdown has forced many struggling businesses to close down permanently and Coogan's in Washington Heights by 169th Street announced as much in mid April. Hamilton Heights used to have a flourishing uptown Irish neighborhood until the 1970s and many would move to Washington Heights which makes Coogan's one of the last vestiges of the community. We took a walk by the local landmark on a sunny day last week to say goodbye and capture some final images of the beloved Irish Pub.
