Harlem Bespoke: One of the things that might change about the Harlem Fairway is the large selection of pastas that made shopping a global experience. The parent company sold the location due to a bankruptcy filing and the new owners might not be so worldly in the selection that will be available on the shelves. Squid ink swirl pasta, linguini with dried porcini and tomato mix added in, gluten free rigati from Italy or even the private Fairway label which has a lot of different shapes not usually found at most supermarkets. We also remember that there used to also be an Italian Spaghetti O's dried pasta shape and the assortment was constantly adding something new. Everything is still in stock at the 12th Avenue location by 132nd Street so shop now while things are still available. More on Fairway can be found in our past post:
