EAT: OUTDOOR DINING SEASON EXTENDED
Harlem Bespoke: Getting an outdoor dining permit was really a process in the past but the city bypassed all that when the pandemic hit and will now extend concept past Labor Day. The original plan was to have limited indoor dining back in place by Phase 4 reopening this week but that currently does not appear to be happening. Instead, restaurants will now be able to keep tables out front on the sidewalk and in the street a couple more months longer with the last day set for October 31st. With that said, the city streets feel more like a neighborhood these days and New Yorkers might just want this all to be permanent even in the coming years when things eventually do get back to normal.
