Harlem Bespoke: The big pause in the city appears to not have not halted some major new openings on 125th Street this summer. We had seen construction workers in front of the storefront just east of Popeyes at the corner of St. Nicholas Avenue during the week and over the weekend the arrival of Krispy Kreme has been revealed. This notable donut chain had expanded into the city aggressively a few years ago but had slowed down until recently. Harlem has been hit or miss with this sort of thing but lines could eventually be forming at this uptown intersection in the near future.
