TAKEOUT: FRIED OYSTERS AT CATCH & GRILL
Harlem Bespoke: We dropped by the new Catch & Grill on Lenox by 127th Street this week to check out the lunch special which had a lot of enticing choices to select from for $12 a basket. Fried oyster are not usually offered at a lot of fish restaurants in the city so we decided to see how the order would turn out. The good news here is that the oysters came out perfectly crispy and are a definitely a delicious summertime treat to have at the new arrival on the block. Then came the fries which where just okay but cajun variations or even onion rings are the other options to try out in the future as a side order.
As far as presentation goes, paper containers would also have a been a better packaging choice since plastic kind of feels like a deli takeout situation. With that said, we will probably stop by soon to see if the catfish, flounder or soft shell crab are just as good as the oysters but will choose a different side to go along with the order.
